The Purpose Of The Procurement Is To Carry Out A Study On Low-Carbon Foundation Methods. The Goal Is To Determine The Atmospheric Heating Effect Potential Of Foundation Methods Commonly Used In Finland In The Construction Of Key Types Of New Buildings Under Typical Finnish Ground Conditions. With The Help Of The Results, The Aim Is To Guide Those Starting A Construction Project, Designers And Implementers To The Use Of Low-Carbon Foundation Methods And The Construction Product Industry To New Low-Carbon Foundation Solutions. The Main Steps Of The Implementation Are As Follows:1. Literature Review Of Research And Development Activities Regarding The Climate Effects Of Different Establishment Methods In Finland And Internationally.2. A Description Of The Most Commonly Used Foundation Methods In Finland For Different Types Of Buildings With A Sufficient Scope.3. Calculation Of The Climate Effects (Carbon Footprint, Where Applicable, Carbon Handprint) Related To The Aforementioned Foundation Methods And Definition Of Other Boundary Conditions Related To Foundation Construction.4. Preparation Of The Final Report Based On Research Material For The Ministry Of The Environments Publication Series And Presentation Of The Results At The End Of The Work. The Report Must Be Completed By The End Of June 2027 At The Latest. The Anticipated Value Of The Procurement Is A Maximum Of 60,000 Euros (Vat 0%). In Addition, The Purchase Includes An Option Of 5,000 Euros (Vat 0%), Which Concerns The Revision Of A Possible English Translation Of The Research Publication, Which Is Funded By The Ministry Of The Environment, And Tasks Related To The Communication Of The Research Material. The Translation Work Is Estimated To Be Completed By The End Of 2027. The Use Of The Option Is Billed According To The Actual Hours.
