Tenders are invited for Operation of Canteens - 2026 Canteens Dr. Wimala de Silva Hostel Canteen Faculty of Medical Sciences Canteen Interested tenderers may submit separate tenders for one or more of the above canteens. The name of the canteen for which the tender is submitted should be clearly indicated in the tender document. The period of service shall be one year. Tenders are invited under the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure. Interested canteen operators may inspect the tender documents free of charge at the Office of the Deputy Registrar/Student Welfare at the address given below. Further information may be obtained from the Deputy Registrar/Student Welfare on Tel. No. 011-2803471. Tender application forms may be obtained from the Office of the Deputy Registrar/Student Welfare by submitting the original receipt issued by the University Shroff upon payment of a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 1,000/- in cash at the University Shroff. The payment shall be made during the period from 20.08.2026 to 10.09.2026, between 9.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. The refundable tender deposit is Rs. 1,000/-. The original receipt obtained upon payment of the said amount to the University Shroff shall be attached to the completed tender document and submitted along with the tender. Sealed tenders shall be deposited in duplicate in the Tender Box placed at the Student Welfare Office before 2.30 p.m. on 10.09.2026. The name of the relevant canteen shall be clearly indicated on the top left-hand corner of the envelope containing the tender documents. Tenders will be opened at 2.30 p.m. on 10.09.2026. Late tenders will be rejected. Tenderers or their authorized representatives may be present at the tender opening, if they so wish. A Pre-Bid Awareness Meeting will be held at 10.00 a.m. on 10.09.2026.
