The Procurement Services Of The City Of Turkus Corporate Administration Is Requesting Offers For The Literature To Be Procured For The City Of Turku And Other Procurement Entities Mentioned In The Request For Tenders For The Period 1 January 2027 (Target) - 31 December 2028, After Which The Contract Can Be Extended By The Customers Decision On The Original Terms For Two Years. It Is A Framework Arrangement For Which No More Than 5 Suppliers Are Selected. The Estimated Value Of The Acquisition Is Approximately Eur 2,000,000 Per Year Without Commitment. The Customer Does Not Commit To A Specific Purchase Quantity Or Value. Procurement Contracting Parties Have An Electronic Service At Their Disposal, The So-Called Acquisition Portal, Through Which They Get To Know The Literature They Can Choose From, Make Choices And Order Materials. The Portal Compares The Prices Of Each Individual Acquisition And Directs The Order To The Material Supplier That Offers It At The Lowest Price At The Time Of Ordering. The Customer Also Places Orders In Smaller Quantities By E-Mail And Via The Suppliers Online Store. Purchased Literature Procurement Applies To Domestic And Foreign Literature For Libraries And Other Offices Of Municipalities/Cities According To The Needs Of The Subscribers. The Purchase Does Not Apply To Textbooks Purchased For Pre-School Or Educational Institutions. In Domestic Literature, In Addition To General Literature, The Offer Must Include A Wide Selection Of Productions By Public Organizations, Educational Institutions, Various Companies And Associations, And Other Small Publishers. For Literature In Swedish And English, We Require A Wide Coverage In Terms Of The Number Of Titles And Content Of The Provided Material. The Number Of New Titles To Be Offered Each Year Must Be Clarified In The Offer. The Number Of New Titles For Domestic And English- And Swedish-Language Literature Must Be At Least As Specified In The Procurement Criteria Section Of The Request For Tenders Each Year. In The Case Of Non-Domestic And English- And Swedish-Language Literature, An Estimate Of The Annual Number Of New Titles By Language Must Be Reported. If More Than Five (5) Accepted Bids Are Received In The Bidding Process, The Bids Will Be Compared According To The Extent Of The Supply Of New Titles In The Required Languages, As Specified In The Decision-Making Section Of The Request For Bids.
