Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services - Transformation Planning Bew Module 1 For Stadtwerke Schwerin - Partial Service Lot 4: Use Of Geothermal Energy For Stadtwerke Schwerin Gmbh (Sws). The Schwerin Public Utilities Operate A District Heating Network With A Sliding Flow Temperature To Supply Household And Commercial Customers In Schwerin. A Geothermal Plant Has Been In Operation At The Lankow Location Since 2024. In The System, Which Is Designed As A Hydrothermal Doublet, Thermal Water At A Temperature Of 56°C Is Pumped To The Surface From A Depth Of Approx. 1,200 M, Heat Is Extracted Via An Intermediate Circuit And, As Planned, Is Reintroduced Underground At 20°C. The System Opens Up An Approx. 45M Thick Postera Sandstone Horizon With An Exceptionally High Yield (Permeability Approx. 10 Darcy) And Is Dimensioned For A Thermal Water Volume Flow Of 150 M3/H. The Service To Be Awarded Includes The Preparation Of A Specialist Report In Accordance With Funding Guidelines On The Expanded Use Of Deep And Medium-Deep Geothermal Energy For The Schwerin Location As A Component Of The Transformation Plan Of Stadtwerke Schwerin Gmbh (Sws) As Part Of The Feasibility Study Of The Federal Funding For Efficient Heating Networks Module 1. For This Purpose, The Contractor Must Prepare The Analyzes And Elaborations Available To The Client And Intersect Them With Other Data Sources, Specialist Information And Empirical Values, Carry Out Calculations And Convert Them Into A Coherent One Integrate The Overall Concept. The Expert Report Is Combined With Other Reports By The Client After An Energy System Analysis To Form The Final Transformation Plan. For The Variants Developed As Part Of The Concept, The Required Electrical Connection Power Must Be Determined And The Location-Specific Available Network Connection Options Must Be Checked At The Required Network Voltage Level. Any Necessary Upgrades With An Existing Electrical Supply Structure Or The Effort Required For Connecting To The Grid Must Be Described Separately From A Technical Perspective And Estimated In Terms Of Costs And Taken Into Account In The Rough Cost Estimate. The Effort Required To Connect Large Electrical Consumers To The Grid As Well As The Effort Required To Connect To The Existing District Heating Network Must Be Taken Into Account In An Optimized Manner When Choosing A Location.
