The Ndr Wants To Combine The Previous Radio And Television Control Rooms Based On An Ip Media Network And Upgrade Them To The New Technology In Order To Be Able To Meet Multimedia Requirements. Many Of The Systems Previously Involved Are Outdated Or Will Soon Reach Their End-Of-Life And Therefore Need To Be Replaced. In The Course Of An Investigation Prior To This Project, It Was Decided At Ndr That A Media-Over-Ip Network (Moip) Based On Smpte St 2110 Would Be Used. The Central Infrastructure Of The Ndr-Wide Moip Network Was Already Developed And Built As Part Of Another Project. At The On-Air Launch Of The New Mcr, The First Production Complexes Will Already Be Broadcasting Live On The Moip Network, So Special Care Is Required When Integrating New Devices Into The System. The Project Includes: - Construction Of Central Device Technology At The Hh Lokstedt Location In 2 Hot Aisles As Well As Other Distributed And Decentralized Device Rooms Including Cabling - Construction Of Four Complete Mcr Control Stations At The Hh Lokstedt Location - Construction Of An Additional Control Station (Euro Coordination Station) At The Hh Lokstedt Location Large Components In This Project Are Provided By The Client (Client), This Primarily Includes The Integration Of The Devices Into The Central Systems Of The Moip Network, Including The Orchestration System. The Ndr Has Developed A Procedure For This, Which Can Be Found In The Document In The Appendix, Instructions On The Ip Next Requirements For Project Managers And Tenderers (Appendix01_Beipack Slip_Ip_Next_V1.4.Pdf). Due To Working Groups Taking Place At Ard To Develop A Control Room Of The Future, Particular Emphasis Is Placed On Modular, Scalable Media Technology. The Pre-Developed Mcr Workstations Establish A Standard For The Ndr, Which Could Be Set Up In Larger Numbers Than Stated Here If Necessary.
