Tenders are invited for Consultant: 10 Days Training to Establish Women Mediation Groups in Five Palestinian Refugee Camps, in Close Consultation with the Legal Department Unit within the Popular Committee. Closing Date: Sunday, 30. Aug 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Conflict Resolution, Peace & Security Remuneration range: 1000 to 2000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 7 months The Permanent Peace Movement (PPM) is currently implementing a project on women-led mediation in five Palestinian Refugee Camps in partnership with UN Women. The project aims to increase ability of the Women and men in Palestinian Refugee camps in Lebanon to take peace and humanitarian actions that provide relief and that ensure non-recurrence of violence in their communities. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under the overall supervision of the PPM Representative and in close collaboration with UN Women the Consultant will provide 52 consultancy days on the following tasks: 10 days training to establish women mediation groups in five Palestinian Refugee Camps, in close consultation with the Legal Department Unit within the Popular Committee. Conduct 30 days capacity-building trainings 2 days training to facilitate women-led dialogue roundtables addressing community stability and human security concerns and/or disseminating findings of policy briefs/white papers with stakeholders and decision-makers inside the Palestinian Refugee Camps 5 days training to facilitate coordination and joint working mechanisms between women-led groups and the Legal Department Units of the Popular Committees affiliated with the Palestinian Authority (PA) 5 days training to support the 5 women-led groups Essential requirements Bachelors degree or equivalent related to social work, economic, business or other relevant fields. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working with NGOs. 5 years of proven work experience in peace building and WPS. 5 years of experience in writing progress reports and evaluating the outcomes of the process Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate. Excellent oral and written communication in Arabic and English.
