ABOUT STEP UP The Step-Up regional program is designed to support 36 marginalized youth working in cultural, creative, and crafts-related fields across Lebanon, Jordan, and Palestine. The program aims to turn artistic, digital, and technical skills into realistic, community-based livelihood opportunities through structured online learning and applied on-the-job training. Overview INJAZ Lebanon is looking for an expert Lead Trainer for Package 3 of the Step-Up program. The trainer will lead an applied on-the-job training program comprising 5 in-person training days (5 days in Lebanon), 3 online training days for participants from Gaza, and 5 online mentoring sessions (90 minutes each). The primary objective is to mentor participants in planning and executing real cultural events (1 concert + 1 exhibition in Lebanon). SCOPE OF WORK The Package 3 Trainer will be responsible for the following activities: A. Technical Instruction & Curriculum Delivery Applied Event Management: Facilitate sessions on event concept development, audience definition, curation, artist coordination, work plans, and team roles. Operations & Logistics: Guide participants through production logistics, technical setups, venue procurement, budgeting, resource tracking, and event marketing. Gaza Online Track: Deliver 3 specialized online training days tailored for Gaza-based participants B. Field Supervision & Mentorship On-the-Ground Coaching: Supervise live event setup, technical rehearsals, execution, and breakdown for concerts and exhibitions in Lebanon. Interim Mentoring: Conduct 5 online mentoring sessions (90 mins each) between training days and live event execution. C. Documentation & Reporting Production Auditing: Oversee participant creation of technical checklists, production plans, and financial tracking sheets. Attendance & Media: Collect daily attendance sheets and minimum required event high-resolution photos/screenshots with proper consent. Post-Event Reporting: Deliver a comprehensive post-event review covering expenditures, audience reach, lessons learned, and overall outcomes within 10 working days. Qualifications The successful candidate will demonstrate: Professional Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on expertise in the MENA region involving concert production, exhibition curation, and creative sector operations. Proven track record in organizing traditional music-instrument exhibitions and concerts alongside local communities and cultural practitioners. Commercial or high-end event management backgrounds are inadequate; the expert must align with the community-centric and livelihood-driven focus of Step Up.
