The South Island Natural Resource District Is Seeking A Proponent To Write A Fuel Management Prescription For Hornby Island Mott Lands (20.8 Ha) And Wui Area (104.2 Ha) Along Forest Trails. The Fuel Management Prescription Must Meet Standards And Guidance Provided On The Tools For Fuel Management[1]. The Purpose Of The Fuel Management Prescription Is To Create A Two-Tier Approach To Fuel Management, I.E. Intensive Treatment On Mott Lands Near Values And Extensive Treatment Along Trails And Road Corridors Further Away From Structures. This Project Is A Continuation Of A Project Completed In 2024 To 2025 Around The Community Centre.
