Bishop Konstantin Preslavski Shumen University Is A Partner In The Project Environmental Recovery In The Black Sea Through Reef Options (Hero, Bsb01238), Which Is Implemented Within The Interreg Next Vi-B Cross-Border Cooperation Program Black Sea Basin 2021-2027. For The Implementation Of Project Activities, Shumen University Should Select Contractors With The Necessary Capacity, Qualification And Proven Professional Experience In The Field Of Scientific Research. Performance Includes, But Is Not Limited To: Conducting Seawater And Coastal Zone Analyses; Seabed Survey; Categorization Of Marine Waste By Type, Quantity And Source; Monitoring Ecosystem Habitats And Organisms; As Well As Assessment Of Suitable Locations For Artificial Reefs. The Selected Contractors Will Support The Processes Of Data Collection And Analysis, Their Integration Into Digital And Interactive Maps, As Well As The Development Of Strategies To Reduce Pollution And Restore Damaged Marine Ecosystems. In Addition, Shumen University Should Assign A Contractor With Proven Capacity To Carry Out Graphic Design, Pre-Press Preparation And Printing Of The Following Documents: Marine Litter Report, Habitat Loss And Ecological Impact Report And Artificial Reef Impact Report. Also, Shumen University Should Select A Contractor With The Necessary Technical And Organizational Capacity To Provide Specialized Services, Including The Provision Of Divers And Vessels To Carry Out Coastal Debris Survey, Monitoring And Reporting Activities, As Well As The Deployment And Subsequent Monitoring Of Artificial Reefs. The Full Scope And Comprehensive Listing Of The Activities To Be Performed By The Contractor Are Specified In The Technical Specification, Part Of The Public Procurement Documentation.
