Water Metering Upgrades . The Town Of Amherst Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Proponents To Supply, Deliver, And Support The Phased Implementation Of A Town-Wide Advanced Metering Infrastructure (Ami) Or Automated Meter Reading (Amr) System, Including The Replacement Of Existing Water Meters With New Ultrasonic Metering Technology. This Initiative Represents The First Phase Of A Multi-Year Capital Program, Pending Council Approval, With The Objective Of Transitioning All Municipal Water Accounts To A Fully Integrated Ami Or Amr System Over The Next Five (5) Years.
