Tenders are invited for IDMC Knowledge Products Consultant The Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC) is the worlds authoritative source of data and analysis on internal displacement. Since its establishment in 1998 as part of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), IDMC provides rigorous, transparent and independent data, analysis and evidence to inform policy and operational decisions that improve the lives of people living in, or at risk of, internal displacement. IDMC monitors all situations of internal displacement worldwide, provides quantitative estimates of the number of internally displaced people and develops research and analysis to better inform policy and operational responses. Its data and evidence are disseminated through publications, digital platforms and the Global Internal Displacement Database. Within IDMC, the Global Insights Hub is responsible for the organisations publications, including its flagship Global Report on Internal Displacement (GRID), and for translating displacement data and evidence into accessible, policy-relevant insights for diverse audiences.
