Limburg Water Board (Hereinafter: Wl) Manages Approximately 188 Kilometers Of Primary Flood Defenses, Spread Over 46 Dike Sections. These Processes Must Be Assessed Within The Term Of Lbo2 In Accordance With The Environmental Regulations And The Nationally Applicable Assessment Instruments (Boi). Carrying Out These Assessments Requires Specialist Knowledge In The Field Of Water Safety, Geotechnical Engineering, Hydraulics And Probabilistic Analyses. In Addition, The Assessment Process Requires A Careful And Uniform Working Method, In Which Quality And Reproducibility Are Of Great Importance. Wl Has An Internal Team With Substantive Expertise In The Field Of Water Safety And Lbo2 Assessments. Given The Size Of The Task, The Complexity Of The Assessments And The Available Internal Capacity, Wl Has Chosen To Use External Support To Carry Out The Remaining Assessments.
