The Pankow District Of Berlin Intends To Further Develop The Schönholzer Heide Sports Complex With Its Three Locations: Paul-Zobel-Sportplatz, Am Ehrenmal Sports Facility And Schönholz Shooting Range In The Long Term, In Line With Needs And To Make It Future-Proof. The Three Sports Facilities Are Viewed As A Sports Facility Network Due To Their Spatial Proximity Within The Schönholzer Heide And Their Functional Connections, But Remain Independent Locations With Different Usage Profiles. They Are Used In Particular For Popular, Club, Competitive And School Sports. The Starting Points For The Development Of The Sports Facility Network Are The Sports Development Plan Of The Pankow District, The Current Sports Facility Statistics Of The State Of Berlin, The Existing Rough Concepts Of The Individual Locations As Well As The Results Of An Information And Dialogue Event With The Clubs Using The Sports Facility Network.
