To Encourage Children To Adopt Healthier Eating Habits, Schools Can Qualify For A Subsidy Through The Eye For Lekkers Campaign Of The Flemish Government To Distribute A Portion Of Fruit Or Vegetables To Their Students As A Snack On A Fixed School Day Per Week. The 7 Hasselt Urban Schools Are Participating In This Project And Are Expanding The Healthy Snacks To 2 Portions Per Week Through The Healthy Food At School Subsidy Provided By The Supporting Education Policy Service Of The City Of Hasselt. This Assignment Includes The Delivery Of Fresh Fruit And (Sweet) Vegetables To The Participating Schools Within The Territory Of The City Of Hasselt.
