Construction Work - Request For Participation: The Main Contract For The Expansion Project Of The Hinta Surface Water Plant. The Oulu Water Company (Hereafter Also The Procurement Unit) Requests Applications For Participation In The Main Contract For The Expansion Of The New Surface Water Plant To Be Built In Hinta In Accordance With The Procurement Notice And Its Appendices Through A Competitive Negotiation Procedure. The Object Of The Procurement Is The Main Contract For The Expansion Of The New Surface Water Plant To Be Built In Hinta. The Goal Of The Procurement Is To Secure The Sufficiency Of Domestic Water For The City Of Oulu And Operational Reliability Of The Water Supply, And To Enable The Basic Improvement Of The Current Water Plant. The Contract Form Is A Total Contract. According To The Plans, The Hinta Surface Water Plant Expansion Project Includes The Construction Of The Surface Water Plant As A Complete Contract. The Surface Water Plant Will Be Built In A Turnkey Contract After Being Put Into Working Condition. The Surface Water Plant Expansion Project Includes The Construction Of A Water Plant Building, An Underground Tunnel And An Underground Water Tank Building. Gross Square Footage: Approx. 12,000 M². The Contract Includes, Among Other Things, Exceptionally Demanding Ground And Foundation Construction Works, Watertight Pool And Concrete Structures, Process And Building Technology, Pipelines And The Construction Of A Connecting Tunnel. The New Plant Complex Will Be Built Next To The Existing Surface Water Plant. In Addition, The Subject Of Procurement May Be Additional Work, The Need For Which Becomes Apparent During The Execution Of The Work. The Automation Contract Related To The Project Will Be Procured Separately, And That Contract Will Be Subordinated To The Main Contract That Is The Subject Of This Request For Participation. The Works To Be Procured Are Planned To Start In Mid-March 2027, And The Facility Must Be Ready For Commissioning By The End Of 2029. The Facility Must Be In Use And Handed Over By 30 June 2030. The Language Of The Procurement And The Project Is Finnish. The Persons Offered For The Project Are Required To Have Excellent Finnish Language Skills.
