Aug 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Labor & Livelihoods Remuneration range: 1000 to 2000 (USD) The objective of this assignment is to produce professional, engaging photographs and short video content that: Document project activities across protection, life skills, TVET, and economic empowerment components. Highlight MSME and farmer success stories resulting from SIFs support. Reflect the role of SIF in delivering the project. Scope of Work The photographer/videographer will be responsible for covering the following activities, implemented in Saida and Jezzine districts. The exact number and sequencing of shoot days (within the 910 days total) will be agreed with SIF based on the activity implementation calendar. Psychosocial support (PSS) sessions for caregivers focused on positive discipline, child development, and effective communication. Coverage of the group session, facilitator-caregiver interaction, and materials used; caregivers only, no identifiable images of children. ToT and on-the-job monitoring for SDC staff on life skills provision training of trainers sessions and coaching/monitoring visits. Structured life skills training sessions for youth group training activities and trainer support; minors filmed only with signed parental/guardian consent. TVET training cycles hands-on/practical training in workshop or vocational settings, tools and equipment in use, participant progress. Job Placement coverage of job placement activities showing participants engaging in job related tasks. Entrepreneurship Training - coverage of training sessions, practical activities, youth engagement, and distribution of start-up kits to supported young entrepreneurs. Business development training for MSMEs training sessions plus on-site coverage of at least 23 supported businesses (premises, owner at work, products/services) for success-story content. Business development training for farmers training sessions plus field/farm visits capturing agricultural practices and beneficiary testimony. Opening and closing ceremony for the project Summer market day. Deliverables The photographer/videographer is expected to deliver: All raw footage and unedited photos on an external drive or through a secure cloud link, in high resolution. A set of professionally edited/color-corrected photographs for each activity covered (a mix of wide, medium, and detail shots all in horizontal format), captioned with activity name, location, and date. Short-form video content (approx. 13 minutes) suitable for social media, covering activity highlights for each of the six activities. At least 23 beneficiary testimony videos (shots only, short interview format), with a variety of profiles (gender and age) where beneficiaries are willing. Testimonials should focus on what happened and how the support has helped beneficiaries should not be asked to thank SIF. At least 2 MSME/farmer success-story videos, combining interview footage with B-roll of the business or farm and its products. Shots of staff/trainer testimonials (English, or Arabic) explaining the activity and project details (numbers reached, type of support, location). Visibility of SIF branding (visible where appropriate e.g. banners, rollups, vests) without staging beneficiaries or making them appear uncomfortable or forced to face the camera. No shot should be shorter than 10 seconds, for editing purposes. Signed consent forms (SIF template) for every identifiable individual featured, and parental/guardian consent for any minor photographed or filmed. All materials must comply with SIFs branding and communication guidelines and are the sole property of SIF; they should not be shared externally by any means. Ethical Considerations and Child Safeguarding Given the presence of children and at-risk individuals in several of the activities covered (notably the PSS sessions and life skills training), the photographer/videographer must comply with the following at all times: Adherence to SIFs Child Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct throughout the assignment. No photography or filming of a child without prior written consent from a parent/guardian and, where age-appropriate, the childs own assent. Informed consent to be obtained from all adult beneficiaries prior to being photographed, filmed, or interviewed, with a clear explanation of how the material will be used. A SIF staff member (focal point) will accompany the photographer/videographer during all sessions involving children or protection-related activities. Duration & Timeline Filming: 910 working days (to be scheduled with SIF Communications focal point in coordination with the project manager). Timeline: Tentative dates to be confirmed with the photographer, as dates can change depending on activity implementation schedules. Raw materials should be uploaded to a shared cloud drive within 24 hours of each shoot day. Final edited deliverables due after 3 days of finalization of coverage of each shoot day. Required Qualifications Proven professional experience in photography and videography, ideally within humanitarian, development, or NGO settings. Must provide a portfolio of previous work (photo and video samples) as part of the application, as specified in Section 10. Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling and editing skills. Own professional equipment (camera, lenses, audio/microphone for interviews, lighting as needed). Ability and availability to travel to Saida and Jezzine districts, South Lebanon, for the agreed shoot days. Fluency in Arabic; working knowledge of English an asset. Reporting & Coordination The photographer/videographer will work under the direct supervision of: Primary Contact: SIF Communication focal point, SIF Lebanon Secondary Contact: Livelihood project manager The SIF team will provide: Filming schedule and site access. Branding and communication guidelines. A SIF focal point to accompany all sessions involving children or protection-related activities. Payment Terms Payment will be made upon satisfactory delivery and SIFs validation of all deliverables. The total fee will be agreed upon prior to contract signing and will cover all filming, travel, editing, and related expenses.
