Bids Are Invited For Rfp For Prime Consultant Services For Drumheller-Royal Tyrrell Museum- Roof Sections Replacement

This Project Involves The Removal And Replacement Of Localized Sections Of The Existing Sbs-Modified Bitumen Roofing System Thathave Reached The End Of Their Service Life Or Have Been Damaged And Are No Longer Performing As Intended. Work Will Include Theselective Demolition And Removal Of The Existing Sbs Membrane, Insulation, And Associated Components Within The Identified Repairareas, Down To A Suitable And Sound Substrate. The Substrate Will Be Inspected And Prepared To Receive New Roofing Materials. Anew Sbs-Modified Bitumen Roofing Assembly Will Be Installed To Match Or Exceed The Performance Of The Existing System. Thereplacement System Will Include New Insulation (Where Required), Base Sheet, Cap Sheet, And All Necessary Flashings, Terminations,And Accessories To Ensure A Watertight Installation. All New Materials Will Be Compatible With The Existing Roof System And Installedin Accordance With Manufacturer Specifications And Applicable Building Codes. The Contractor Will Ensure Proper Integration Of Thenew Roofing Sections With The Remaining Existing Roof To Maintain Continuity Of The Weatherproofing System. Upon Completion, Thereplaced Areas Will Be Watertight, Properly Drained, And Fully Sealed.Conduct Entire Roof Condition Assessment And Inspection. Roof Condition Report To Guidethe Project Forward With Recommended Actions.
