With This Announcement, The Varsinais-Suomen Welfare Area Starts A Market Survey And Finds Out The Interest Of Suppliers In Connection With The Repair Project Of The C Wing Of The A-Hospital. This Announcement Is Neither A Procurement Announcement Nor A Request For Quotation. The Purpose Of This Announcement Is To Inform The Contractors In The Market About The Upcoming Repair Project And To Hear Their Views Regarding The Planned Work Package. Varsinais-Suomens Welfare Region Tenders The Repair Project Of The C-Wing Of The A-Hospital Through The Hilma Procurement Portal, According To The Preliminary Plan, As A Limited Procedure, I.E. A Two-Stage Procedure. It Is A Construction Contract That Exceeds The Eu Threshold And According To The Preliminary Plans, The Contract Will Be Tendered As A Complete Contract. The Renovation Of The Facilities In The C Wing Of The A-Hospital Is A Major Project, The Purpose Of Which Is To Update The Facilities To Meet Current Requirements And Needs While Preserving The Buildings Cultural-Historical Value. The Building Is Protected With The Sr-1 Designation, Which Means That It Is Culturally And Historically Valuable And Requires Approval From The Museum For Changes To The Facade And Elevators. Part C Of The A-Hospital Was Built In 1937 For Residential Use And Its Purpose Of Use Was Changed To Hospital Premises Throughout The 1960S As The Need For Space Grew. In The Early 1970S, Part C Was Completely Renovated For Use By The Hospital. The Premises Have Housed The Hospitals Reception And Office Spaces. With The Renovation, The Existing Division Of Space Will Change And The Premises Will Be Initially Converted Into Office And Conference Rooms. The Parts Of The C Wing To Be Renovated Are Connected To The A Part Of The Hospital Through Elevators, Stairs And Connecting Corridors. The Conversion Area Is Approx. 6,500 Brm2. The Surface Area Does Not Include Balconies Or Outdoor Spaces. The Renovation Covers The K Floor, P Floor, Office Floors (1St To 8Th Floor) And Attic Floor (Iv Machine Room Level). Floors 1-8 Will Be Converted Into Office And Meeting Rooms. The Patient Elevators Will Be Renewed As Personal Elevators And The Old Central Staircase Elevator Will Be Modernized In Accordance With The Museums Instructions. The Building Contains Harmful Substances, E.G. Asbestos, Which Are Removed Under Reduced Pressure. The Building Will Be Dismantled To Its Frame Structures, So That Rebuilding Can Begin With Surfaces Free Of Harmful Substances. Indoor Air Tests Have Shown The Need To Repair The C Wing Of A-Hospital, And The Technical Systems, Such As Heating, Water, Ventilation And Automation Technology, Are At The End Of Their Service Life. Most Of The Facade Plastering Has Come Off Its Base, The Plastering Will Be Dismantled And Redone In Imitation Of The Old Plastering Surface. At The Same Time, The Facade Windows Will Be Renewed.
