Wigan Council Wishes To Appoint A Supplier To Carry Out Portable Appliance Testing (Pat) Across It'S Premises And Assets.This Procurement Is A Below-Threshold Contract And Is Being Conducted In Accordance With Part 6 Of The Procurement Act 2023.In Line With The Local Government (Exclusion Of Non-Commercial Considerations) (England) Order 2026 And Associated Government Guidance, Wigan Council Has Elected To Reserve This Competition To Suppliers Based Within Wigan Borough.For The Purposes Of This Procurement, A Supplier Will Be Considered “Based Within Wigan Borough” Where It Can Demonstrate A Substantive Operational Presence Within The Borough. This Includes, But Is Not Limited To, A Staffed Office, Depot, Or Service Delivery Base From Which The Contract Will Be Performed.Suppliers That Do Not Meet This Requirement Will Not Be Eligible To Participate In This Procurement.
