DOT - State Transportation Building Roof & Cooling Towers Replacement, Boston, MA. The mechanical scope consists of the replacement of two (2) cooling towers. The existing open cell cooling towers will be removed and replaced. A temporary chiller system will be installed and connected to the existing chilled water system to maintain cooling in the building during the period of the cooling tower replacement. The project also consists of replacing a portion of the existing roof.
