Sep 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Agriculture René Moawad Foundation (RMF) is a Lebanese non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian organization, established on November 22, 1991, two years after President René Moawads assassination, who was elected President of the Lebanese Republic on November 5, 1989 and killed 17 days later. President René Moawad believed in a strong and democratic state and fought for a progressive and modern Lebanon, a peaceful Lebanon, which embraces the values of democracy, human rights, moderation and pluralism. The Strengthening Rural Development in Lebanon project is aiming to create a new, more equitable and resilient production system in the apple value chain both at the individual level (small-scale agricultural producers) and collectively (through cooperatives). This will be achieved by improving the productivity and implementing Good Agricultural Practices through capacity building and the adoption of techniques that allow obtaining products of higher quality and competitiveness in the local market. This will include training and technical support to maximize agricultural yield and reduce negative impacts on the environment, as well as improving farm management. It will contribute to the renovation of apple trees and guaranteeing their access to innovative equipment to increase the productivity, profitability and competitiveness of apple producers. The purpose of this RFP is to gather the best proposals for the procurement and delivery of agro food equipment and supplies to 6 MSMEs.The selected supplier will be responsible for three separate deliveries to the designated locations in Zgharta, Bcharre, and Deir El Ahmar. The supplier shall also be responsible for the loading, transportation, unloading, and placement of the equipment and supplies at the designated delivery locations.All transportation, loading, and unloading costs shall be included in the suppliers financial proposal.
