Request for proposals for Professional Recording Studio to Produce High-Quality Sinhala Audio Recordings for the Project Strengthening Community-Based Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) for Migrant Workers The Lebanese Center for Civic Education (LCCE), through the ASPIRE program, seeks a professional recording studio to produce high-quality Sinhala audio recordings for the project Strengthening Community-Based Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) for Migrant Workers. The assignment includes recording, editing, sound design, and mastering approximately 270 minutes of training content (five episodes), as well as editing nine standalone audio files from pre-recorded content. The project is implemented by LCCE in collaboration with the National Mental Health Programme (NMHP) at the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), in coordination with Stichting Vluchteling (SV), and with support from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Role of the Recording Studio: Plan, coordinate, and manage the recording sessions for specified audio content in Sinhala. Ensure high-quality studio-level audio output, including clear sound capture, noise reduction, and comprehensive editing. Oversee and guide voice talents, maintaining consistency in tone, pronunciation, and clarity across all recordings. Deliver final, professionally mastered audio files in pre-agreed formats (e.g., WAV, MP3). Record all audio within a professional studio environment, using industry-standard equipment. Follow guidelines on the addition of sound effects and music to the final product, and perform all post-production tasks including editing, audio mixing, and mastering, accordingly. The Sinhala recording should follow the same production style and format used for the Arabic SH+ version, including the integration of all relevant sound effects and audio cuessuch as the bell, anchoring cues, and otherswhere required. Collaborate closely with the designated project focal point to obtain timely feedback and approval. Ensure proper labeling and inclusion of metadata for all final audio files. Maintain availability and service validity for a period of 3 months from contract signing. Provide access to a library for a selection of free/open-access music that can be added throughout the editing, and provide the needed music licenses to be uploaded online. Effectively coordinate with and allow the presence of the project coordinator and a native Sinhala speaker to assist with verifying the recordings and ensuring accurate integration throughout the production period. For each recorded episode, the edited output is expected to be delivered within 2 working days per episode. Expect up to three revisions (as the project possesses several implementing partners). Studio access and recording time should be flexible and fully available to fulfill the required deliverables, accommodating a range of 2 to 4 hours required for each session. The recording studio must be in Beirut or Mount Lebanon Payment will be based on delivery of completed and approved audio files, as per the agreed schedule and quality standards. Kindly note that the chronological order of outputs can be modified Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience in professional studio recording and audio post-production Kindly provide at least three podcast samples from previous work Access to a fully equipped recording studio capable of handling multilingual audio projects. Prior experience in managing multilingual content is highly desirable. Proven ability to work with voice talent and deliver polished audio outputs aligned with project requirements. Strong coordination and communication skills for seamless collaboration with project stakeholders. Applicants must submit 3 audio samples as part of their application. Confidentiality & Ownership All recorded material is the property of the National Mental Health program (NMHP) and the Lebanese Center for Civic Education (LCCE). The studio must ensure confidentiality of all content and participants. Communication The Studio will appoint a focal person for communication to report to the designated responsible person and collaborate closely with the coordination team throughout the production cycle.
