Aug 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Sports & Recreation Remuneration range: 2000 to 3000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 5 months (August December 2026) About Right To PlayRight To Play (RTP) is a global organization reaching millions of children yearly across 15 countries, protecting, educating, and empowering them through play-based learning. In Lebanon, RTP responds to declining psychosocial well-being, learning loss, and the need for enhanced youth leadership, with a focus on localization of expertise and support to marginalized communities. Objective of the ConsultancyRight To Play seeks a Sports for Protection Monitoring Consultant to provide technical field monitoring and coaching support for the Sports for Protection project. The consultant will conduct regular field visits to monitor session quality, coach partner facilitators, and support consistent implementation of Sports for Protection methodologies promoting childrens wellbeing, protection, inclusion, and social-emotional learning. Key Responsibilities Conduct field visits (approx. twice weekly) to observe Sports for Protection sessions delivered by partner facilitators Monitor session quality using RTPs technical observation tools and standards Provide on-site coaching and feedback to facilitators; support strengthening of facilitation skills, child protection practice, and trauma-informed approaches Complete session observation reports after each field visit Submit a monthly technical monitoring summary Qualifications Proven experience in play-based programming, monitoring, and reporting in humanitarian/development contexts with children and adolescents Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Education, or a related field Sound understanding of child protection, safeguarding, and trauma-informed practice Experience in humanitarian, displacement, or crisis-affected contexts is highly desirable Proficiency in MS Office; experience with high-frequency reporting Ability to travel regularly to BML, North Lebanon, and Beqaa Fluency in Arabic required; working knowledge of English is an asset Selection ProcessApplications are evaluated against mandatory and desirable criteria (technical fit, experience, and value for money), combined with the financial proposal, to determine the best-qualified individual consultant.
