Tenders Are Invited For Renovation Of Langerbrugge Ferry Ports

The Assignment Includes The Repair And Renewal Of The Ferry Ports In Langerbrugge On The Left And Right Banks Of The Ghent-Terneuzen Canal. The Existing Bank Defenses Will Largely Be Replaced. The Works Must Be Carried Out Simultaneously On The Left And Right Banks To Keep The Implementation Period And Therefore The Interruption Of The Ferry Service For Cars, Trucks, Etc. As Short As Possible. Temporary Ferry Moorings Must Be Created On Public Property On The Left And Right Banks So That Vulnerable Road Users (Pedestrians, People With Disabilities, Cyclists, Etc.) Can Continue To Use The Ferry Service. Since The Environmental Permit Was Obtained At The Beginning Of February 2025, The Works On The Site Must Be Completed No Later Than January 31, 2027.
