The unit should allow convenient loading of a flat membrane disc, a low internal dead volume, and safe operation at elevated pressure and temperature. Equipment Type: Pressurized stirred (dead-end) filtration cell for laboratory membrane process development. Membrane Disc Size: Approx. 4555 mm diameter (flat disc format). Active Membrane Area: Approx. 1020 cm². Processing (Vessel) Volume: Approx. 250350 mL capacity. Hold-Up (Dead) Volume: Low hold-up design; target 23 mL. Maximum Operating Pressure: At least 6070 bar ( 9001000 psig); higher pressure option (150+ bar) desirable. Maximum Operating Temperature: At least 100125°C at rated working pressure. Pressure Source: Operable from a standard compressed air or inert gas supply; no pump required. Cell Body Construction: Corrosion resistant stainless steel (e.g., 316 series or equivalent); higher alloy option for aggressive media. Sealing Components (O Rings/Gasket): Elastomer seals (e.g., nitrile as standard), with chemical resistant elastomer or PTFE options. Stirring Mechanism: Integrated magnetic stir bar (PTFE or equivalent inert coating); optional motorized stirrer accessory.
