Quotation are invited for Bucanana Booster Pump Repairs. Closing Date 25 August 2026 PROJECT SCOPE The scope of work covers all the works associated with the refurbishment of Bucanana Booster Pump Station near the steel tank at Mancence in Ward 33. BACKGROUND Bucanana Booster Pump Station forms part of the Crocodile dam water supply scheme. It receives water from a steel tank which is fed by three production boreholes at Crocodile Dam and Mancence. The station then pumps water to the community on the North-Eastern side of the tank. Following the vandalism of the Booster Pump Station, water supply to the community has been interrupted. Residents are currently dependent on water tankers.To restore sustainable water supply and reduce reliance on tankers, it is recommended that the Bucanana Booster Pump Station be refurbished urgently. LOCATION The Pump Station is located in Mancence Area in Ward 33 with coordinates (28°3449.15"S, 31°4315.58"E), the municipal officer in charge will accompany the service providers to the site. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Replacement of 2 x 3kW Vertical Multistage Pumps. Replacement of 2 x 3kW Control Panel. Reinstatement of Pipework including flow meter, Isolation Valves, NRVs, Pressure gauges and sensors. Reinstatement of 16mm^2 x 4 Core Armoured Supply Cable Reinstatement of 10mm^2 x 4 Core Trailing Cable Installation of Hot Dip Galvanized Mild Steel Cable trunking. Reinstatement of Access door with bugler proof. Installation of internal lighting. Walls & Floor Painting RETURNABLE DOCUMENTS Letter of good standing which is relevant to the nature of work (engineering construction/ steel fabrication and Electrical Projects). CIBD certificate (1EP and 1ME or Higher). Proof of business premises. Trade test certificates for Mechanical Fitter, Welder and Electrician. SCOPE REQUIREMENTS A suitable supplier is required for the execution of the scope of work required. The supplier to provide materials, consumables and labour for the scope required. The supplier must familiarize itself with all conditions on site and quote accordingly. It is the responsibility of the supplier to adhere to safe practice regulations. The appointed service provider must provide a safety file. It is the responsibility of the supplier to take correct measurement on site meeting/ after site meeting. The successful supplier shall ensure the measurements are correct. The contractor shall have good housekeeping on completion. The supplier must quote accordingly as no price variations would be accepted. The personnel working shall apply appropriate personal protective equipment. The service provider shall sign a permit to work on site. Quotations from service providers who were not present on the site meeting shall not be accepted.
