The City Of Maple Ridge (The “City”) Is Interested In Hearing From Firms Or Individuals (“Suppliers”) Capable Of Providing Various Services As Indicated Herein Under The Direction Of The City Of Maple Ridge’S Emergency Operations Centre (Eoc) Who Are Capable Of Performing Work And Providing Services During Emergencies On An “As And When Requested” Basis. Services May Be Required Within The City Of Maple Ridge, Or In Neighbouring Communities, Depending On The Location And Nature Of The Emergency. Through This Request For Information The City Wishes To Identify Suppliers With The Capacity, Ability And Experience To Provide The Following Services Or Supplies To Support The City’S Eoc Operations During Emergency Events And Evacuations Of Persons And Animals From Their Homes. The General Scope Of The Requirement Is Dependent Upon The Emergency; However, Floods, Fires, And Earthquakes Are Relevant Examples: 1. Facility Rentals For Emergency Supply Staging And Distribution, Resident Evacuation Reception Centres Or Alternate Eoc Operations (Halls, Arenas, Conference Centres, Churches/Faith-Based Facilities, Motel/Hotels, Private Facilities, Etc.) 2. Supply And Delivery Of Reception Centre Rental Equipment (Event Tables & Chair Rentals, Office Equipment Rental Suppliers, Etc.) 3. Commercial Lodging/Hotel Accommodation For Evacuees/Displaced Residents (Hotels, Motels, Extended Stay Providers, Etc.) 4. Food, Catering, Meals (Breakfast, Lunch And Dinner), Grocery Support Services, And Food Distribution Providers For Evacuees/Displaced Residents. 5. Animal Evacuation And Support Services Affecting Pets, Hobby Farms, Livestock (Evacuation Services, Shelter, Boarding And Feeding (Kennels, Barns, Feed Suppliers, Haulers, Veterinarians). 6. Transportation Services (Shuttle Companies, Accessible Transportation, Taxi Providers) 7. Pharmacies And Suppliers Of Vouchers For Clothing & Basic Needs (Retailers, General Merchandise Stores, Etc.)
