The Main Objective Of This Initiative Is To Strengthen The Security Of The Commune Of Gorbea Through The Acquisition Of A Pick-Up Type Motorized Vehicle, Equipped With Technology And Personal Protection Elements, Which Allows For The Development Of Focused Surveillance Rounds In The Territories Of Gorbea, Quitratúe And Lastarria, As Well As In The Different Rural Sectors Of The Commune. This Acquisition Responds To The Need To Reinforce Preventive And Surveillance Work, Especially In Those Sectors Where Recurring Criminal Acts Have Been Recorded, Including Robbery In Inhabited Places. Currently, The Commune Does Not Have A Sufficient Number Of Vehicles To Cover The Different Territories In A Timely And Permanent Manner, A Situation That Limits The Response Capacity And Preventive Presence On The Ground. In This Context, The Incorporation Of A New Vehicle Will Increase The Coverage Of Surveillance Patrols, Improve The Capacity To Travel To Urban And Rural Sectors, Strengthen Preventive Presence And Contribute To Generating Greater Security Conditions For The Inhabitants Of The Gorbea Commune.
