Firefighting Services – Braunschweig Municipal Hospital: In-House Fire Department For The S2 Clinic Site. With 1,475 Fully Inpatient Beds And 24 Semi-Inpatient Beds And Over 4,000 Employees, The Braunschweig Clinic Serves The Braunschweig Region With Around 1.2 Million Inhabitants As A Maximum Care Hospital At A University Level. With 22 Clinics, 10 Independent Clinical Departments And 7 Institutes, Almost The Entire Range Of Medical Subjects Is Covered. Every Year, More Than 50,000 Patients Are Treated As Inpatients And Around 200,000 As Outpatients. With Regard To Building N (Functional Building) And All Buildings On The Property At The Salzdahlumer Straße Location (See Attached Site Plan, Appendix 14), The City Of Braunschweig Believes That There Are Structural And Technical Fire Protection Risks That Require Measures That Go Beyond The Existing Operational Structures. In Order To Compensate For These Risks, It Is Necessary To Have A Permanent Fire Department, Which Ensures Fire Protection On Site As Part Of Its Duties And Takes Effective Initial Measures Until The Braunschweig Professional Fire Department Arrives. The Aim Of This Tender Is Therefore To Find A Contractor Who Will Provide A House Fire Department For The Client For The S2 Clinic Site And Carry Out The Corresponding Tasks Of The House Fire Department.
