The Federal Office Of Energy (Bfe) Surveys Energy Consumption In Industry And The Service Sector Every Year. The Statistics Have Been Published Annually Since 1999. To Date, The Survey Has Included A Sample Of Around 14,000 Workplaces Per Year, Which Were Collected Directly, And Almost 5,000 Workplaces Whose Data Is Provided By Central Authorities (So-Called “Special Cases”: Companies With A List Of Workplaces, Federal Companies, Large Federal Consumers). Since 2002, The Federal Statistical Office (Fso) Has Been Responsible For Extracting Workplaces From The Swiss Business And Enterprise Register (Bur) And For The Extrapolation Process. The Mandate For This Survey Was Last Advertised In December 2015 And Will Now Be Advertised Again After The Contract Period Has Expired. From Reference Year (Rj) 2027, Energy Consumption Will Continue To Be Collected Directly At Around 14,000 Workplaces Every Year. The Contract Duration Of The Mandate Advertised Here Is Five Years With An Option For Annual Extension For A Maximum Of Another Five Years. Preparations Usually Begin In August Of The Reference Year. Increased Effort Must Be Expected For The First Round Of Surveys.
