Work Detail
Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Tnw_Ing_Stadt Pottenstein_Renovation Of The Bayreuther Berg Street. The City Of Pottenstein Is Planning To Renovate The Main Road Bayreuther Berg In Pottenstein (Pottenstein District, Field No. 1191). The Road Is Part Of The Citys Road Construction Workload And Represents The Most Important Inner-City Transport Connection: It Connects The Pottenstein Valley Area - In Which The B470 Federal Road Also Runs - With The So-Called High Zone To The North, In Which, Among Other Things, There Is A New Development Area And The School. The Traffic Load Was Determined To Be Around 60 To 80 Vehicles Per Hour. The Street Begins In The Valley Area At The Intersection With Fischergasse, Hollergasse And Franz-Wittmann-Gasse And Ends In The High Zone At The Junction With Jugendherbergstrasse. The Total Length Is 452 Meters. Due To A Height Difference Of 56 Meters (From 367 M To 423 M Above Sea Level), There Is An Average Gradient Of Around 12.4%. The Existing Road Layout Is Demanding And Accessibility Is Difficult, Especially For Larger Vehicles - It Is Currently Not Possible For Several Trucks To Pass At The Same Time, Especially Uphill. Given The Special Geological And Topographical Conditions, The Client Expects The Contractor To Have Proven Experience In The Construction Of Slope Roads Or Mountain Routes. A Feasibility Study Was Carried Out For The Section In The Cemetery Area In 2024. This Essentially Involves Dismantling The Old Retaining Wall, Widening The Roadway And Supporting The Road Using Bored Piles. The New Sidewalk Is To Be Supported On These Bored Piles. The Net Construction Costs For This Section Were Estimated At Around 1.4 Million Euros (Excluding Additional Construction Costs). The Additional Construction Costs Are Expected To Amount To Around 210,000 Euros. Based On This, Total Construction Costs For The Entire Road Section Are Expected To Be Around 2 To 3 Million Euros. The Proposed Bored Pile Foundation Is Not Considered A Mandatory Requirement; Alternative And Innovative Solutions Are Expressly Desired. For Well-Founded Planning, A Detailed Traffic Count With Video Analysis Was Carried Out, See Documents. The Traffic Flows Were Recorded In A Differentiated Manner (Cars, Trucks, Buses, Cyclists, Pedestrians, Etc.) In Order To Determine The Necessary Expansion Work For The Road And Sidewalks. The Following Service Models Are Awarded In Accordance With Hoai 2021: - Property Planning For Traffic Facilities (§ 47 Para. 1 S. 2 Hoai, Part 3 Section 4) - Structural Planning (§ 51 Para. 1 Hoai, Part 4 Section 1) - Geotechnics (Annex 1.3 Hoai) - Engineering Surveying (Annex 1.4 Hoai) - Landscape Conservation Accompanying Plan (§ 26 Para. 1 Hoai, Part 2 Section 2, If Necessary) Special Services Are Also Commissioned. There Are Nature And Bird Protection Areas In The Area Surrounding The Construction Area. However, The Construction Area Itself Is Not A Designated Protected Area. Rock Fall Protection Is Required Due To The Measure. Task
