Tenders are invited for Support to the Eurocontrol Standardisation Service General: EUROCONTROL has 42 Member States and is a civil-military intergovernmental organisation committed to building, together with its partners, a Single European Sky, i.e. arrangements allowing the air navigation management system in Europe to achieve the level of performance required for the coming decades. The EUROCONTROL Agency, which was set up to carry out the Organisations mission, provides sustained support for all its Member States, for the European Commission and for the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). This assistance is provided in numerous fields, in particular those of regulation, general oversight of air navigation management arrangements, and the environment. The EUROCONTROL Agency is also tasked with the permanent monitoring of the performance of the air navigation management system in place in Europe and of the associated civilmilitary coordination. Technical subject matter: The EUROCONTROL Standardisation Service develops fit-for-purpose technical and operational, civil and military standards, published in the form of EUROCONTROL specifications and guidelines. The standards serve as means of compliance with global and EU requirements, support harmonised deployment and facilitate an open market for our stakeholders . The Standards Development Plan (SDP) lists all of the new and existing specifications and guidelines that are currently being worked on. The standards are developed according to the EUROCONTROL standards development process and provides a validated outcome on the basis of a defined need. Using an inclusive, cooperative and transparent process, the EUROCONTROL standards contribute to improving the safety, interoperability and performance of the entire aviation sector.
