Desingel Is The Well-Known Arts Center In Antwerp Where The Four Disciplines Of Theatre, Dance, Music And Architecture Live Together. Partly Thanks To The Large-Scale Infrastructure Of The Site, This Major Art Institution Of The Flemish Government Is A Unique Meeting Place For The International And Flemish Arts World. The Desingel Building Contains A Series Of Technical Installations That Need To Be Replaced Due To Their End Of Life Or To Improve Energy, Comfort And Safety Requirements. The Assignment Concerns A Study Of Specific Technical Installations In Demarcated Zones And Spaces In The Building. This Includes Ventilation/Air Conditioning, Lifts, Emergency Lighting, Fire Safety Installation And Electrical Signs. In Addition To The Study Of The Technical Installations, There Is Also A Limited Architecture Study Assignment Specifically With Regard To The Structural Fire Compartmentalization At The Basement Level And On Elevator Shafts. The Study Includes All Technical Adjustments And All Adjustments For Their Architectural Integration (Including Architecture, Stability, Acoustics). The Interventions Must Be Integrated Into The Existing Architecture In An Appropriate And Careful Manner.
