This Request For Proposal Is Seeking A Completed Fuel Management Prescription For A 53.6 Hectare Area Of Interest In The Area Around The Community Of Woss On Northern Vancouver Island.The Contractor Must Use Commercially Reasonable Efforts To Develop A Fuel Management Prescription That Supports A Fuel Management Treatment Of The Area That Reduces The Potential Fire Behaviour To A Level That Allows For The Best Chance Of A Successful Suppression Opportunity By Wildfire Crews (I.E. Direct Attack Firefighting, Establishment Of Sprinkler Lines, Burn-Out/Burn Off Operations).
