Tenders are invited for Annual General Insurance Cover for Property, Plant & Equipment of Head Office Building and Cover for Goods-in Transit of National Building Research Institute-2026/2027 Bid Security (Rs.) 20,000.00 Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Administration Division, NBRI, 99/1, Jawatte Road, Colombo 05 from 9.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs from 10.08.2026 to 24.08.2026. Set of above Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders from the Administration Division on the submission of a written application to the Director General, National Building Research Institute, 99/1, Jawatte Rd, Colombo 05 from 9.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs from 10.08.2026 to 24.08.2026, upon cash payment of non- refundable fee of Rs.3,500.00 for each document,to the Cashier of NBRI. Duly completed bid in duplicate enclosed in a Securely sealed cover indicating the name of the bid marked on the top left hand corner of the envelope shall be forwarded to Director General, National Building Research Institute, 99/1, Jawatte Road, Colombo 05 or shall be deposited in the tender box kept at the NBRI premises to reach on or before the bid closing time of 14.00 hrs on 24.08. 2026. Late bids and electronic bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened right after the closing of bids and bidders or their authorized representatives will be allowed to be present at the bid opening. Each of the bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security to the value specified by the above table,obtained from a reputed bank of Sri Lanka on the format given in the bidding document and shall be valid for a period of 49 days from the closing date of bids (from 24/08/2026 to 12/10/2026) or by a cash deposit made to the Cashier of NBRI.
