The Object Of The Contract Is The Supply And Installation Of A Brackish Water Desalination Unit Capable Of Producing 2,000M3 Of Potable Water Per Day In A Container Or Other Type With All Accompanying Works Fully Installed And Connected To The Water Supply And Distribution Networks, As Well As The Provision Of Operation And Maintenance Services For The Unit. Budgeted Price For The Operation Of The Desalination Unit And The Disposal Of Treated Drinking Water In The Municipality Of Nea Propontida (For Five Years) Is €480,000.00 (Without Vat). This Price Includes The Contractors Expenses Of All Kinds, As Well As His Profit, While It Does Not Include The Cost Of Electricity Consumption For Water Treatment And, In General, The Cost Of Electricity For Desalination. The Price Of Operation And Maintenance (Labor - Consumables - Warranty - Repairs) Offered By The Contractor Will Be Fixed For Five Years. For The Maintenance And Operation Time Of The Desalination Unit, There Is A Possibility To Extend The Contract (Option) For Another Five (5) Years Unilaterally By The Municipality Of Nea Propontida (With Personnel, Chemicals, Spare Parts, Consumables, Repairs). At The End Of The Five Years (Or Ten Years Depending), The Contractor Will Deliver The Desalination Unit In Normal Operation With A Three (3) Year Full Warranty Of The Equipment, To Ensure The Proper Operation Of The Systems. In The Event That The Contract Is Extended (Option) For Another Five (5) Years, The Corresponding Price From Five To Ten Years Will Be Fixed For The Operation And Maintenance Of The Desalination Unit, Increased By 10% From The Price Of Normal Operation, With A Total Cost Of €528,000.00 Without Vat (480,000.00 X 1.10 = €528,000.00). In The Event That The Option Is Not Exercised, The Municipality Of Nea Propontida Will Operate The Desalination Unit With Its Own Staff Or Will Entrust The Operation Of The Unit To Another Economic Entity. The Items To Be Procured Are Classified In The Following Codes Of The Common Vocabulary Of Public Contracts (Cpv): 41000000-9 (Water Collection And Purification), 42912340-7: (Desalination Devices), 65122000-0 (Water Desalination Services). The Auctioned Contract Is A Mixed Contract, In The Sense Of Article 225 Par. 4 Of Law 4412/2016 Because It Includes • Supply Of A Brackish Water Desalination Unit With An Estimated Value Of 2,248,000.00 Plus Vat 24%. And • Normal 5-Year Operation And Maintenance Of The Project With An Estimated Value Of €480,000.00 Plus Vat 24%. The Tender Budget For The Contract (Without Vat And Without The Option) Amounts To €2,728,000.00. The Municipality Of Nea Propontida Reserves The Right To Unilaterally Modify The Contract In The Part Related To Normal Operation And Maintenance For An Additional Period Of Five (5) Years (Right Of Option).
