Prequalifications For Consulting Services As Implementation Consultant (Ic)

Prequalifications are invited for Consulting Services as Implementation Consultant (IC) The objective of the Project is to improve access for farmers and agricultural micro, small and medium sized enterprises to needs-based financing and to effectively lend it to the target group. The Projects direct target group and final borrowers are smallholder farmers with up to 2 ha land, and private agricultural micro, very small, small and medium-sized enterprises. The Project shall preferably finance final borrowers in strategically disadvantaged regions, women-led enterprises and businesses employing a significant share of women, as well as green or innovative investments. The eligible sectors of the direct target group are Primary Agriculture and Agri-Processing. The indirect target group are PFIs, including commercial banks, non-bank financial institutions, agricultural cooperatives, and PFIs anticipated to emerge in the future, operating under legal regulations and with access to the FC Facility´s target group. The requested services as IC are currently foreseen for a duration of up to 36 months with the following tasks: Analysis of ongoing donor activities supporting the agricultural sector in Egypt Support to CIB o Development Finance team as the PEA o Advise in establishing an Agricultural Competence Center o CIB Lines of Business o CIB as Green Bank Support to the Partner Financial institutions (PFI) Support to the Target Group/final borrowers Impact analysis at the end of the IC assignment Further Information: This prequalification for consulting services will be guided by the latest version of the Guidelines for the Procurement of Consulting Services, Works, Plant, Goods and Non-Consulting Services in Financial Cooperation with Partner Countries" (version of July 2024), see KfW Procurement Guideline. It is foreseen to assign the services to an independent consultant firm with proven experience in the sector and the region. The minimum annual turnover shall be 3 million for single entities or Joint Ventures.
