Ancillary Works For Pipelines And Cables – Production Of The Cable Routes For The Unikai Shore Power System. It Is Planned To Supply The Roro And Conro Ships Calling At The Unikai Terminal With Shore Power So That The Ships Own Diesel Generators Can Be Switched Off While They Are At The Quay, Thus Reducing Local Pollutant Emissions. To This End, Two Berths At The Unikai Terminal Are To Be Equipped With Shore Power Supply Systems. The Converter Station Will Be Built On The Premises Of The Unikai Terminal. Two Mobile Cable Management Systems (Cms) Will Be Set Up To Transfer The Supply Cables To The Ships. An Empty Pipe And Shaft System Will Be Built On The Unikai Terminal For The Grid Connection And All Cabling Of The Shore Power System. The Overall Project Is Divided Into Several Award Units. The Subject Of This Tender Is The Construction Of An Empty Pipe Route With Shafts. A Detailed Description Of Requirements Can Be Found In The Following Chapters. 1. Construction Of The Cable Route Between The Unikai Energy Center And The Converter Station. 2. Creation Of The Line Route Between The Converter Station And The Cms, Including Empty Pipes And Shafts To Accommodate Future Connections For Container Ships. 3. Creation Of The Detailed Planning For The Shafts, As Well As Production, Delivery And Installation Of The Shafts.
