Research Services – Projet Axlr « Highly Stable Pervoskite Solar Cells ». The Innovation Developed Within The Iem Laboratory In Montpellier Consists Of The Stabilization Of Perovskite Materials. The Researcher Behind This Discovery Showed That A Stable Perovskite Ink Formulation Could Be Used To Produce Photovoltaic Panels. The Advantage Of Perovskites In Photovoltaics Is That The Material Can Absorb Additional Wavelengths Than Silicon Materials Are Capable Of. However, A Major Drawback Limits The Deployment Of Perovskites In Solar Energy Today; The Materials Are Very Sensitive To Light, Humidity And Heat. The Innovative Formulation Provides A Promising Solution As Preliminary Results Provide Stability Estimates Beyond 25 Years. If These Results Were Demonstrated By Measurements According To Current Standards, The Perovskite Photovoltaic Market Could Finally Develop And Compete With Silicon Photovoltaics. Axlr Maturation Provides A Technology Development Program To Demonstrate Performance On Representative Photovoltaic Modules. The Subject Of The Contract Is: - On The One Hand, The Production Of Small Surface Photovoltaic Cells On A Glass Substrate, With The Objective Of High Power Conversion Efficiency Using Solution Implementation Processes Allowing Scaling Up And, - On The Other Hand, The Production Of Devices On Intermediate Surface Glass Substrate And Flexible Mini-Perovskite Modules, Aiming For High Energy Conversion Efficiency And Demonstrating Scalability Via Solution Implementation Techniques.
