Request for proposals for Consultant services for Independent Validation of Internal Audit Quality Self-Assessment Scope of Work The main objectives of the self-assessment independent validation are to: Validate the results of FHI 360s Internal Audit self-assessment. Assess FHI 360s Internal Audit Conformance with the IIAs Standards and Code of Ethics. Assess the effectiveness of FHI 360s Internal Audit in providing assurance and advisory services to FHI 360 management and other stakeholders. Identify opportunities and provide recommendations for improvement for FHI 360 Internal Audit function. During the engagement, the consultant will be expected to perform the following tasks: 1. Preparation / Planning for the engagement a. Conduct interviews with FHI 360 internal audit management and self-assessment team to understand the organization and the internal audit function. 2. Validation of Field Work a. Review FHI 360s Internal Audit self-assessment report, workpapers, and supporting documentation to assess completeness and validity of the results. b. Review a sample of internal audit engagements and associated workpapers, reports, and audit tools to assess conformance with the Standards and evaluate whether the functions auditors are applying the IIA Code of Ethics when performing engagements. c. Review results of the FHI 360 Internal Audit stakeholder survey, identify areas of concern, and conduct interviews with selected stakeholders where applicable. 3. Conclusion and validation statement a. Present the results of the independent validation of FHI 360 OCIA Internal Audit quality self-assessment. b. Identify opportunities and recommendations for improvement where applicable. The Consultant agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 60 days from the date specified for the receipt of offers, unless another time is specified in the addendum of the RFP.
