The City Of Decatur Will Receive Sealed Proposals From Qualified Consulting Firms To Conduct A Comprehensive Standards Of Cover (Soc) Study For The Decatur Fire Rescue Department. The Study Shall Evaluate The Departments Current Deployment Model, Service Delivery, Operational Effectiveness, And Community Risk, And Shall Include A Community Risk Assessment, Gis-Based Deployment And Response Analysis, Standards Of Cover Analysis, Critical Task Analysis, Unit Hour Utilization Analysis, Staffing Analysis, And Apparatus And Capital Needs Assessment, Consistent With Cfai/Cpse Standards Of Cover Methodology And Applicable Nfpa Standards, With An Optional Accreditation Readiness Evaluation.Potential Respondents Should Have Demonstrated Expertise In Fire Service Deployment Analysis, Gis Modeling, And Community Risk Assessments For Municipal Fire Departments, And Are Asked To Prepare A Proposal Including Firm Qualifications, Project Understanding, Proposed Methodology, Project Schedule, Project Team, References, And All Fees Relevant To Performing The Work.
