Many Of These Transformers Are Taken Out Of Service Because They Have Major Internal Defects, And Their Repair Can Only Be Done In Factory Conditions, At Extremely High Costs. The Main Causes Of The Defects Occurring In These Transformers Are The Decrease Of The Internal Insulation Resistance Below The Permitted Limit, Internal Short Circuits, Damage To The Sealing Elements (Gaskets, Valves, Pipes, Etc.), As Well As The Decrease In Time Of The Dielectric Characteristic Of The Insulating Oil. The Purchase Is Made To Replace The Power Transformers Which, Due To Breakdowns And Advanced Age, Are No Longer Safe To Use, I.E. No Longer Reliably Perform The Basic Function Of Ensuring The Supply Of Electricity, Leading To Affecting The Regularity Of Train Traffic.
