The District Of Metchosin Invites Qualified Consulting Firms To Submit Proposals To Undertake A Comprehensive Review Of The Districts Emergency Management Program And Develop A Modern, Legislatively Compliant Emergency Management Framework.The Successful Proponent Will Conduct A Comprehensive Hazard Risk And Vulnerability Assessment (Hrva), Review The Districts Current Emergency Management Capabilities, And Provide Council With A Strategic Framework And Prioritized Implementation Plan That Aligns With British Columbias Emergency And Disaster Management Act (Edma), The Emergency And Disaster Management Regulation, And The Declaration On The Rights Of Indigenous Peoples Act (Dripa).The Resulting Work Will Establish A Roadmap For The Continued Development Of Emergency Management Within The District Over The Next Five To Ten Years.
