The Sunshine Coast Regional District Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Public Accounting Firms To Provide Independent Financial Audit Services For The Regional District And The Sunshine Coast Regional Hospital District (Scrhd). The Initial Engagement Will Cover The Fiscal Years Ending December 31, 2026, December 31, 2027, And December 31, 2028. At The Regional District’S Discretion, The Engagement May Be Extended For Up To Two Additional One-Year Periods Covering The Fiscal Years Ending December 31, 2029 And December 31, 2030. The Assignment Also Includes An Audited Statement Of Gross Rental Receipts Associated With The Hillside Development Project Foreshore Sub-Leases For The Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2026. This Requirement Is Expected To End When The Hillside Headlease With The Province Expires. If The Headlease Or Related Reporting Requirement Is Extended, The Regional District May Request Comparable Assurance Services In A Subsequent Year. The Regional District Intends To Select The Proponent That Offers The Best Overall Value Based On Relevant Public-Sector Audit Experience, Team Qualifications And Capacity, Understanding Of The Assignment, Proposed Audit Approach, Service Continuity, Sustainable Social Procurement, And Price.
