The Purpose Of This Contract Would Be To Support The Council In Major Roof Renewals And Maintenance Across The Housing Portfolio.While &Quot;In-House&Quot; Trade Operatives Are Used For Minor Roof Repairs There Has Been Little Large-Scale Capital Investment In Roofing Works For Over A Decade And As A Result, The Council Are Starting To See An Increase In The Number Of Roofs Failing The Decent Homes Standard. To Deliver This Capital Investment At Scale, Housing Maintenance & Development Services Require A Flexible Measured-Term Contract, Where Such Work Can Easily Be Draw Down.
