Role Purpose:Provide tailored one-on-one coaching and technical support to ten (10) MSMEs to strengthen their financial literacy and business management capacities. The consultant will conduct three individualized coaching sessions for each MSME based on identified business needs and support beneficiaries in developing or improving practical business plans that contribute to business growth and sustainability. Main Responsibilities : Conduct an initial assessment of each MSME to identify business needs and capacity gaps. Design and deliver three individualized coaching sessions for each of the 10 MSMEs (30 sessions in total). Provide coaching on financial literacy topics such as budgeting, cash flow management, pricing, record keeping, costing, and financial planning. Provide business management coaching tailored to each MSMEs needs, including marketing, operations, customer relations, sales strategies, and business growth. Support each MSME in developing or strengthening a comprehensive business plan. Review business plans and provide practical recommendations for improvement. Prepare coaching materials, templates, and tools as required. Coordinate coaching schedules with the Project Manager and participants Maintain attendance sheets, coaching records, and participant progress notes. Submit periodic progress updates and a final consultancy report summarizing activities, achievements, challenges, and recommendations. Key Performance Indicators : Complete needs assessments for all 10 MSMEs. Deliver 30 individual coaching sessions (3 sessions per MSME). Develop or improve 10 business plans. Submit coaching documentation and attendance records on time. Submit progress updates according to the agreed timeline. Submit a comprehensive final consultancy report by the end of the assignment. Achieve high beneficiary satisfaction and quality of coaching. Remuneration: $150 per coaching session Education & Experience : Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, or a related field (Masters degree is an asset). Minimum 35 years of experience in business development, MSME support, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, or business consulting. Demonstrated experience coaching small businesses or entrepreneurs. Experience developing business plans and providing tailored business advisory services. Previous experience working with NGOs or donor-funded projects. Excellent report writing and documentation skills. Fluency in Arabic and good command of English. Evaluation Criteria: Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:Relevant qualifications and experience (30%) : Experience in MSME development, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and business coaching. Technical Proposal (30%) : Quality of the proposed methodology, coaching approach, and work plan. Previous Relevant Work (15%) : Relevant work samples and/or references from similar consultancy assignments. Interview (25%) : Technical knowledge, communication skills, and understanding of the assignment.
