Type Of Service In North Rhine-Westphalia (Particularly In The Hochsauerlandkreis And The Soest District), Agricultural Areas Were Sometimes Heavily Contaminated With Pfas In The 2000S Due To The Application Of A Contaminated Biofertilizer (So-Called Application Areas). As A Result, Pfas Soil Studies Were Carried Out On Many Areas (See Lanuk Technical Report 34). In Particular, On One Of The Most Highly Polluted Areas, Soil Investigations Are Still Carried Out Regularly To This Day (Https://Www.Lanuk.Nrw.De/Themen/Themenuebergreifde-Fragen/Fährstoffe/Pfas/Pfas-In-Boeden/Aufigungsflaechen) And Some Of Them Are Published Scientifically (Zweigle Et Al. 2023).
