The Subject Of The Award Is A Research And Development Project To Investigate And Further Develop Ai-Supported Methods For Side-Channel Analysis Of Cryptographic Implementations. The Focus Is Particularly On Post-Quantum Cryptographic Methods And, As A Reference, Symmetrical Methods (E.G. Aes) On Microcontroller And Fpga Platforms. The Contractor Sets Up A Measurement/Test Environment, Selects Or Creates Data Sets (Current/Em, Multimodal If Necessary) And Examines Robust Model Architectures, Trace Compression, Test Time Tuning As Well As Suitable Evaluation Metrics And Workflows For Reproducible Evaluations. Optionally, Approaches For The Auto-Formalization Of Selected Safety Proofs Are Considered As Examples. Deliverables Include Reports And Presentations, Executive Summaries, A Practice-Oriented Guide, Data Sets, Source Code And An Expanded Software Toolbox Including Installation Instructions, User Manual And A Short Quick-Start Tutorial.
