Expression of Interest for IFC Procurement of a Panel of External Consultants for External Due Diligence (EDD) Services As part of its integrity due diligence process (IDD), IFC conducts a background analysis of its potential and existing clients. The analysis includes research using publicly available resources and informal reference checks in the relevant markets. Under certain circumstances, IFC contracts External Due Diligence (EDD) firms to assist in conducting more in-depth research about a potential or existing client company. Such assignments could be either on a regional basis or involve clients with a global footprint. In order to make the process of selecting EDD firms more efficient, IFC seeks to establish a panel of pre-selected EDD firms that could undertake these analyses and investigations on a local or regional basis, as IFC may require. If selected, the EDD firm will still be required to compete in mini bids for specific assignments based on terms of reference tailored to those specific assignments. This proposed procurement establishes a multi-vendor (6) panel arrangement with a maximum contract envelope of USD 3.7 million over a period of 5 years, ensuring flexibility, continuity of service, and competitive pricing through calloff assignments.
