Tenders Are Invited For Provision Of Insurance Brokerage Services

Tenders are invited for Provision of Insurance Brokerage Services for Three Years. Scope of Work:- 1. Scope of Essential Services The Insurance Broker shall provide comprehensive professional services required to arrange and finalize the insurance program for the Halfaya Project. These services shall include, but shall not be limited to, the following: Advising on and designing appropriate insurance programs to meet Halfaya Oilfields risk management and risk transfer objectives; Procuring, reviewing, analyzing, and presenting alternative insurance quotations, together with professional recommendations where appropriate; Reviewing and verifying that issued policy documents strictly conform to the agreed terms, conditions, limits, and coverage negotiated with insurers; Coordinating and facilitating the settlement of insurance claims with insurers, and assisting PetroChina in preparing and submitting all necessary documentation to underwriters and/or loss adjusters; Providing guidance and information regarding PetroChinas statutory obligations under applicable Iraq Insurance Laws, as well as relevant international regulations governing the arranged insurance policies; Conducting risk assessment surveys, as and when required by PetroChina; Providing annual training for six (6) MOC staff members outside Iraq, in accordance with the applicable MOC letter requirements. 2.Optional Services (Payable on a Case-by-Case Basis) The following services, if requested by PetroChina, shall be considered optional and shall be payable separately on a case-by-case basis: Reviewing PetroChinas Risk Management Framework and advising on any identified gaps, inconsistencies, or deviations; Assisting PetroChina in relation to subcontractors insurance programs, including support during contractual negotiations; Compiling, analyzing, and reporting on third-party risk exposures relevant to the Company; Presenting and explaining PetroChina Halfayas insurance arrangements, as well as providing general insurance knowledge sessions to PetroChina employees, as and when required.
